Linking Picking Slips for Picking

You can use the Warehouse Scheduler - Picking Slips tab to combine multiple picking slips onto one PDA so they can be picked together but still invoiced separately.

Technical Tip

Note that this will not combine quantities of like items on the PDA.

To link picking slips for picking:

  1. Open the Warehouse Scheduler.

Refer to "Displaying the Warehouse Scheduler".

Micronet displays the Warehouse Scheduler - Picking Slips tab.

  1. In the Warehouse View field, select the picking slips you want to view. The options are:
  1. Select FILE | REFRESH or press F2 to display the selected picking slips.

For more information about the fields on this tab, refer to "Viewing or Changing the Status of a Picking Slip (v2.7)".

  1. Select the slips you want to combine onto one PDA by using the Shift key to select several slips in a row, or using the Ctrl key to select several slips that are not sequential.
  1. Select EDIT SCHEDULE | SET SELECTED TO LINKED.

Note that the Action field has now changed to Linked.

  1. Select FILE | PROCESS.

Micronet links the selected slips and then redisplays the Warehouse Scheduler - Picking Slips tab with the status of those slips set to Paperless Queue - Linked.

Technical Tip

This screen is not automatically updated. It is a good idea to select FILE | REFRESH every now and then to ensure you are viewing the most recent data.

  1. To view the picking slip to which a slip is linked, double click on the picking slip you want to view, or select a picking slip and press Enter.

Micronet displays the Select Process Slips screen with the number of the linked picking slip displayed in the Linked Value field.

Technical Tip

You can unlink a picking slip by changing its status back to the paperless queue – see "Viewing or Changing the Status of a Picking Slip (v2.7)".
